New Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement Reached

A new trade agreement resulting from the now defunct Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) was recently signed in Santiago Chile.
Participating countries recently reached a new trade agreement – called the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. The new agreement resulted in part from the failure of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, from which the U.S. withdrew from last year under the Trump Administration.
