Chapter Development Message

Hello Members

It is new to myself and a great pleasure to be MDRAO Provincial Director of Chapter Development. Although I am at helm of the position, I look forward to having the support of our chapter executive members in continuing to improve our member experience and also introducing our association to our MDRD fellow workers throughout the province wherever they may be working in their MDR capacity. From the private plastics surgeon, to the dentist’s office and to the hospitals, our association adds a great benefit to staff working in these areas.

Understanding our positions as executives is sometimes complicated, and we at the provincial will be offering executive education to help chapter executives and our provincial executive the opportunity to perform at a higher level. We look forward to having all executives join in the session.

Our membership numbers are strong. Our enrollment in the online MDRAO course is a very strong part of improving the state of all MDRD’s in Ontario and across the country. Our efforts to encourage use of MDRAO’s online course is also being promoted in other provinces.

Reflecting on this year’s MDRAO Conference, I am extremely proud of the success achieved this year. The efforts and hard work of the Provincial Executive produced an opportunity for higher learning, and I thank them for their efforts. As I made my way through the three days, I was pleased to see members make new friends and make new connections. MDRAO membership opens the doors for success. I encourage all members and associates to promote membership.
