ETA Chapter Report

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The MDRAO has just finished the biannual conference, September 6-8, 2019. All members want to get back to work and the usual routine in their lives but more importantly to go home, relax and take a break.

As everyone I talked to after the closing remarks is bringing back with them new ideas and topics to brainstorm, some have met new friends willing to network and share knowledge and experiences. Yes, it was a successful three days, attended by many ETA chapter members as well as students from various colleges. In addition, by visiting manufacturers and distributors booths, vendors were there to answer questions delegates might have with instrumentation and equipment.

MDRAO ETA chapter sent 19 members to the conference; some stayed for the full 3 days, and some attended 2 days. Most enjoyed the Dinner Award party, especially the magic performance.

ETA members said that the conference was a success. Some of them have already expressed thanks for having a chance to attend such a well-planned and attended conference.

An invite will be sent out to the ETA chapter members to attend the MDR Education Day held in the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto, Ontario, on November 9, 2019. This will be our education day.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one for making this MDRAO Conference 2019 a successful one.
