ETA Chapter Report

March 2019 Report

Since the last report, the ETA Chapter has held two meetings, and the dates and locations were picked with the majority of members' preferences taken into consideration. Our third meeting and Annual Education Day will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Delta Airport Hotel located at 655 Dixon Road, Toronto, Ontario.

The first meeting this year was held at and sponsored by K Bro Linen Services, October 9, 2018, and it was a very informative as well as educational tour of their facility. The second was the Mandarin Christmas Dinner on December 11, 2018. All enjoyed this networking meeting and had a little bit of fun with some draws and prizes donated by our sponsor, Mobile instruments and Keir Surgical instruments. Minutes have been previously submitted to the provincial board to post online.

I would like to take this opportunity and thank the Chapter Executives, Garry Bassi our Provincial Representative and Chapter Education member for giving reports from the provincial board and arranging speakers for our upcoming Education Day, Louis Konstant Chapter Secretary/Treasurer for taking and keeping meeting minutes, preparing and keeping our finances, Jocelyn Samson, Vice President and Rohan Jagasar for their continued support for our ETA Chapter activities.

The next meeting to follow will be the AGM in May 2019. Venue is still yet to be determined. We are looking forward to having some new members and another successful membership year.
