Delta Chapter Annual Report

 
Our first 2016 Delta Chapter meeting was held in October after the executive team had attended the 2016 CAMDR conference in October. Our first meeting included an update of some of the important points of the CAMDR conference. Following the update, we listened to a presentation by Jeff Schneider from SPS Medical. We had just attended the OTM in May, our chapter meeting in October and before you knew it, we were preparing and attending our final chapter meeting for 2016, which coincided with the Christmas season. As early as December 2016, we were discussing the agenda for the upcoming education day that was scheduled for April 1, 2017. Our education day evolved into a road trip to Rochester N.Y. where we toured Highpower Validation and Testing Facility. The members attending the education day came away with a better understanding of the testing that products go through before they reach our MDRD’s for reprocessing. We are approaching the end of our fiscal calendar year and last on our list of scheduled meetings is the OTM on May 18.
 
2017 is MDRAO’s year to hold our Bi-Annual Conference and as always, it promises to be a must-see event. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage all of our members to take advantage of attending the conference. We will be drawing member’s names to attend this year’s conference at the OTM in May. I look forward to meeting with Ontario members at the conference.
