Vice President's Report

For me, Medical Device Reprocessing continues to bring new discoveries and continued education. I am honored to be stepping in as your interim Vice President and excited about all the hard work the MDRAO Executive is doing right now. My priority at this time is ensuring that our MDRD manual is ready for print on May 1, 2017 so that we will be ready for the upcoming education year. We are also working hard on getting our Distance and Refresher Courses on line.

Our AGM is scheduled for May 18th and will be done via OTN and the constitutional changes the members have brought forward will be reviewed and voted on.

The Executive is putting together a great conference, so please save the date for Sept 10th-12th, 2017 Measuring Success: Quality Assurance in MDR. It will be a very educational and fun conference. Save your best red and white attire as we plan to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday!

I look forward to working with all of you and encourage you to get involved in your various chapters across Ontario.

Thank you all for the hard work you do each and every day to keep our patients, families, and friends safe.

Respectfully,

Tammy Bennardo, CDMRT

MDRAO, Interim Vice President
