Our second ‘CSAO Taking it to the Top’ Survey which, was distributed in October 2014 by Chris Sherlock (Director of Communications), presented 100 replies with excellent feedback. Examples included: 58.59% of members identified that changing the name to the ‘Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario’ could be an option in moving our organization forward. As well as,  91.75% of members believe that the CSAO does promote standards, foster co-operation, encourage education, and collect and disseminate information. For full results, please log on to the CSAO website.

This year (2014-2015), members will vote on constitutional changes. The vote will take place at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 5:00 pm (1700 hrs.) via OTN/Teleconference instead of the Monday afternoon at our September Annual Conference. Your Chapter will have more information regarding the locations at a later date.

When requesting a change to the Constitution, please make sure that you state the page number, article and section numbers of the current Constitution. Changes must be sent to the office no later than January 16, 2015. We ask that everyone reads the proposed Constitutional changes carefully and ask as many questions as you would like. It is best to understand both the language and intent of these proposals. Please check the website titled ‘Constitution’ for the ‘Constitutional Changes’ form, as well as downloading the 2013-2015 CSAO Constitution Booklet.

Chris and I hope that all of our members had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends! 2015 is setting out to be an exciting and eventful year!

Respectfully,

Anne
