Board Nominations Are Coming!

Dear Colleagues,

On June 18, we will be opening nominations for the CDA Board of Directors for the 2025-26 year. The positions that we will be holding elections for are:

• Director-at-Large
• Regional Director, Territories (incumbent is eligible for a second term)
• Regional Director, New Brunswick
• Regional Director, Quebec (incumbent is eligible for a second term)
• Regional Director, Ontario
• Regional Director, Alberta (incumbent is eligible for a second term)
• Secretary-Treasurer, two-year term
• Vice-President, three-year term as Vice-President, President, and Past-President

Please consider whether you’d like to be nominated for one of these positions.  The CDA depends on volunteer advocates to advance its mission, supporting Canadian cooperation and competency in dam safety and technology.

Serving on the Board is also an exciting, rewarding experience – giving you the opportunity to work with like-minded professionals.  It will also allow you to expand your skills and grow your ability to think about the big picture – things that will be helpful to you in your career.  

And, of course, you’ll be enabling the continued success and effectiveness of the CDA.
