The New Website is Coming – SOON!

Big news on our new website – our “go live” date has been confirmed as July 22! We are working closely with our designer and the new database provider to make this a seamless process for you. As we mentioned in the June Gazette, we are working on a phased approach:

Phase 1 – July 22

• We launch with a new, clean website design, making key items easier to find.
• Content will, for the most part, be transferred from the current site, but we will be tweaking some pages to make them easier to read.
• You’ll receive an email from us asking you to set a new password and update your profile.

Phase 2 – mid-August

• We will be reorganizing material on the site starting around August 15, so it will be easier to locate important resources.
• We’ll be populating a new virtual boardroom area with material to support the Board of Directors, Committees and Working Groups – all of which they will be able to access using a single sign-on.

Phase 3 – mid-September

• Did you ever wish we could present material of direct interest to you? As we revise the information in the profiles, we’ll be adding areas so you can tell us what your interests are around dam safety. This will enable us to develop content and training that’s relevant to you in your career. Be sure to keep watch for this opportunity to gain more from your CDA membership.

To make the most use of the new website, you’ll need to be a member. If you haven’t yet renewed your CDA membership, we encourage you to do so now.

On the new site, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate areas of dam safety that interest you. This will help us develop content and training that’s relevant to you in your career, so you can benefit more from your membership in CDA.
