In 2018 and 2019, a Working Group that was comprised of representatives of the CDA Mining Dams Committee and Dam Safety Committee drafted a revision to Section 3.1 of the CDA Technical Bulletin: Application of Dam Safety Guidelines to Mining Dams (2014). This revision addresses dam safety management and the engineer of record.
The revision was approved by the Board of Directors in the summer. The English PDF version of the Bulletin has been updated and is available through CDA’s online library for members free of charge. It is also being sold in PDF through the CDA Shop.
The 2019 English print version will be available for sale in the new year.
The 2019 French, Spanish and Portuguese versions will be available in 2020. At this time, the French 2014 edition is available.
