CDA short courses to be held June 8 and 9 in Ottawa

CDA is offering optional short courses on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 before ICOLD 2019 officially starts. The courses being offered are:

• Public Safety Around Dams – 2 Days – June 8 and 9
• Emergency Management for Dam Safety – 1 Day – June 9
• Topics in Dam Safety for Mining Dams – 1 Day – June 9
• Dam Safety Reviews – 1 Day – June 9

All four short courses will be offered in English. The Dam Safety Reviews short course will also be offered in French.

The courses are based on CDA’s highly regarded guidance publications which are used by dam professionals in Canada and internationally. These classroom sessions are eligible for professional development credits as required in many jurisdictions.
