CDA Board Vacancy for BC

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

With her election to the position of Vice President, Terry Oswell has resigned her position as the Director from British Columbia.

The CDA by-law 5.07 allows the Board of Directors to appoint an Acting Director for the remainder of Ms. Oswell’s term, which will end on October 26, 2020.

The Board invites individuals interested in serving as the Acting Director to submit a letter outlining their interest and qualifications by December 20 to nominations@CDA.ca. Expressions of interest should be no longer than 250 words in English or 275 words in French.

It is expected that the Acting Director will have close ties to British Columbia, either by being a resident or by spending a majority of their work time in the province.

The Board will review all expressions of interest and appoint the Acting Director early in the new year.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this election, please contact CDA Executive Director, Don Butcher, executive.director@cda.ca, or the chair of the Nominations Committee, Jean-Pierre Tournier, nominations@cda.ca.
