CDA to hold Public Safety Guidelines application review workshop

Five years after the release of the CDA Guidelines for Public Safety Around Dams, the Association will be holding a workshop to review the Guidelines and resulting professional development activities.
This workshop is not the training activity that CDA has been putting on across the country for the past four years. Instead, it is intended to bring together those who have taken those workshops and subsequently applied the Guidelines and training to their facilities.
While CDA is proud of this award-winning program, CDA’s Working Group on Public Safety feels that there have been enough developments in the field over the past five years to warrant a comprehensive review of the Guidelines and workshop; and possibly identify new practical tools for practitioners.
This application review workshop will be held Feb. 29 and March 1, 2016 in Ottawa. More information on registration will be released via the "Announcements" section on the homepage of the CDA website shortly.
