"Coal’s CCS – Change, Challenge, and Sustainability"

ACC Conference Keynote Stephen Moore

Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Institute for Economic Freedom and Opportunity,
The Heritage Foundation
Former writer and Editorial Review Board member, The Wall Street Journal

The American Coal Council welcomes Mr. Stephen Moore to the Coal Market Strategies conference in Park City, Utah to present our Keynote address on August 9, 2016. Mr. Moore, who formerly wrote on the economy and public policy for The Wall Street Journal and was also a member of The Journal’s editorial board, is now a Distinguished Visiting Fellow for the Project for Economic Growth at The Heritage Foundation.

Mr. Moore will discuss his newly-released book "Fueling Freedom: Exposing the Mad War on Energy." In it, he and co-author Kathleen Hartnett White address the highly politicized climate policies pushing a grand-scale shift to unreliable, impractical, expensive, and far less efficient energy sources.  They make an unapologetic case for fossil fuels, turning around progressives' protestations to prove that if fossil fuel energy is supplanted by "green" alternatives for political reasons, humanity will take a giant step backwards and the planet will be less safe, less clean, and less free.

Please join us at Coal Market Strategies August 8-10, 2016 for Mr. Moore’s insightful perspectives on energy policy and the future of coal and fossil fuels.
