Requests for member help with coal advocacy efforts

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The ACC makes every effort to advocate for coal as an abundant, reliable, affordable, and increasingly clean energy resource. We educate and inform our membership, elected officials, the public and the media through our various publications and online resources. With our industry facing unprecedented pressure from elected officials, regulators, and special interests, it is essential that we expand our communications and education efforts to help balance anti-coal misinformation.

One example of our outreach can be found in our 2015 Tomorrow’s Leadership Council Annual Project document – the "Coal Communications Kit." We are posting this report to our website over the next two weeks. When it is published and available publicly, you will find the report on the ACC website in the "Issues" section, under the "Coal Communications Kit" menu option.

Please help us by sharing this pro-coal message with your organizations, your friends and family, and the broader public.

Please also be sure to add links to the ACC website and the Coalblog from your organization’s website, blog, or social media outlets
