Educating Up-and-Coming Professionals

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

ACC Associate Director, Jason Hayes, had an opportunity to speak to the University of Tulsa’s Masters of Energy Business program on October 28th.

He spoke to the group on the topic of "US Coal: Challenges and Opportunities" and had a good turnout and response from the students.

In our work to advocate for coal, we welcome the opportunity to address university groups to ensure that up-and-coming professionals have the chance to hear about the benefits of coal and to become acquainted with the essential role that coal plays in our energy generation system.

If your college or university mining, engineering, environmental science, law, or business faculty would be interested in hearing more about coal, please let us know, or have them connect with the ACC directly. (Alumni, don’t hesitate to recommend your school!) We would be happy to discuss preparing a presentation for them as well.
