Community colleges are special places. Sal Kahn, the founder of the Kahn Academy thinks so. Sal Kahn was a keynote speaker at the recent American Association of Community Colleges Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA and he pointed out that community colleges have the unique ability to be flexible enough to adapt quickly to new learning modules that support how students learn and not how we desire to teach.
