Another conference has successfully come and gone. At every conference I attend I am overwhelmingly impressed at how passionate the volunteers are for their association. CCBO was no different. I was truly honored to be a part of such an engaged and knowledgeable group. The 2016 Annual Conference committee did a wonderful job creating an educational program that was relevant and effective. We look to utilize several of the most popular sessions throughout the year as part of our CCBO Online Education program.
As we look forward to next year, I would like to thank all of the 2016 CCBO committees for devoting their time and attention to the Association, whether it was for educational content, financial responsibility or conference planning. The CCBO committees are the backbone of the Association, they are what help CCBO to continuously move the business officer profession forward. If you are looking to become more involved in the Association, develop your leadership skills and give back to your community then I encourage you to volunteer your time on a committee in 2017. There are multiple ways to become involved, whether it be as a consistent committee member or an ad hoc volunteer.
