The 2014 CCBO Annual International Conference will be held in San Antonio, TX at the Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk. The conference promises to deliver an unforgettable educational experience. Educational sessions, the Leadership Academy, the exhibit hall, networking events, and awards recognition are just a few conference features.

Educational sessions
These breakout sessions give attendees the opportunity to learn what their peers are doing on their own campuses. They range in content and cover many areas of business officer responsibilities. The sessions, which are designed and led by fellow business officers, provide timely and relevant information for the attendees.

CCBO awards CPE credits in numerous fields of study each year, and CPE credits will be available for 2014 educational session attendance. If you attended last year’s conference and need a CPE Certificate of Completion, fill out this form and email it to info@ccbo.org.

If you have implemented a successful solution on your campus and would like to share it with your peers, consider submitting a session proposal. The 2014 Call for Programs will open soon and will be posted to the CCBO website.

Attended a helpful session in Palm Springs and misplaced your notes? Check out the 2013 educational session descriptions and presentations that are now available online.

Exhibit Hall
The CCBO exhibit hall is where partnerships begin! It is a great opportunity for business officers to learn about companies that can benefit their community college campuses. In San Antonio, we will have several networking events in the exhibit hall to maximize the value for our attendees. Not only will this allow the business partners to educate the attendees about their product or service, but the attendees will be able to take strategic solutions and valuable relationships back to their campuses.

Networking
The CCBO Annual International Conference offers numerous opportunities to network with community college colleagues. Members continually value the breakfasts, receptions, tours, and other events that encourage attendee networking. Business officers learn best practices, strategic planning, and innovative ideas not only by attending educational sessions, but also by informally meeting and mingling with fellow business officers facing the same trends on their own campuses. The CCBO conference in San Antonio is the place to be for these exceptional networking opportunities.

Awards
In San Antonio, CCBO will recognize members who have achieved institutional excellence in one of three categories: Outstanding Business Officer, Outstanding Chief Business Officer, and Exemplary Practices. Award recipients are nominated and chosen by their peers, and the Awards Committee will recognize the individuals at the Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening.

Leadership Academy graduates and award winners will also be recognized at the Awards Banquet. The Darrell E. Roberts Emerging Professional Award was awarded for the first time at the 2013 Annual International Conference in Palm Springs, California.
