Julie Beckstead, CAE - Ontario Real Estate Association

My name is Julie Beckstead, and I am the Manager, YPN at the Ontario Real Estate Association. OREA represents REALTORS® in the province and advocates for housing. OREA’s YPN program focuses on providing value to a segment of the membership that is crucial to future membership growth, retention, and engagement rates. It also focuses on equity, diversity, and inclusion through membership engagement, volunteer recruitment, and retention.

This year, I earned my Certified Association Executive designation and sit on CSAE’s Young Professionals Advisory Committee and EDI Advisory Committee. Through CSAE, I appreciate the opportunity to meet other association professionals and address topics that define the industry. Volunteering with CSAE contributes to skill development, learning industry best practices, and hopefully making a difference to other associations as well.
