Hello, my name is Jennifer Buccino and I am the Executive Director of the Diabetes Knowledge & Connection team within Diabetes Canada. Diabetes Canada is a national health charity whose vision is a world free of the effects of diabetes.
I started my journey to learn more about association management in my member engagement role at Dietitians of Canada and joined CSAE and started the CAE program. Moving into a health charity made me realize the similarities in not-for-profit management between the association and health charity sectors. I was excited to continue the CAE journey and to receive the designation this month.
To date, I’ve found value within my fellow CAE peers and look forward to improving my connection to the organization with the new designation.
Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn. |
