Hello, my name is Jennifer Buccino and I am the Executive Director of the Diabetes Knowledge & Connection team within Diabetes Canada. Diabetes Canada is a national health charity whose vision is a world free of the effects of diabetes. I started my journey to learn more about association management in my member engagement role at Dietitians of Canada and joined CSAE and started the CAE program. Moving into a health charity made me realize the similarities in not-for-profit management between the association and health charity sectors. I was excited to continue the CAE journey and to receive the designation this month.
