Julie Beckstead | Ontario Real Estate Association

My Name is Julie Beckstead, and I am the manager of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) at the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA). OREA represents REALTORS® in the province and advocates for housing. OREA’s YPN program focuses on providing value to a segment of the membership that is crucial to future membership growth, retention and engagement rates. It also focuses on equity, diversity and inclusion through membership engagement and volunteer recruitment and retention.

I am currently pursuing my CAE designation and sit on CSAE’s Young Professionals Advisory Committee and EDI Advisory Committee. Through CSAE, I appreciate the opportunity to meet other association professionals and address topics that define the industry. Volunteering with CSAE helps me in developing my skills, learning industry best practices, and hopefully, making a difference to other associations as well.
