Member Moment

As the director of Vision Care Programming, I oversee an incredibly unique program (Eyesafe) that compliments my 30 years of “for-profit” experience. My world is a blend of generating the association’s non-dues revenue while ensuring that the needs of our members come first. I decided to complete the CAE program to gain a holistic understanding of the competencies required in non-profit association leadership. The content truly lays the foundation for any individual looking to expand their career in non-profit management.  As a sitting member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in Occupational Eye Protection and as the chairman for a local community organization, I have also been able to utilize my learnings from the CAE program in other aspects of my life outside of my office. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
