Member Moment

My name is Danielle S. Russell, CAE, C.Dir, and I am the very newly named executive director of Canadian Defence Lawyers, the only national association representing the interests of civil defence lawyers. I joined CSAE shortly after starting my first job in the association sector in the late '00s, and have held almost every volunteer role imaginable, including having served two terms on the Board of Directors, two terms on the Trillium network council, and chairing a Summer Summit committee.

As I embark on my latest career adventure, I know I do so with the support and collective wisdom of my incredible network – many of whom I have met through CSAE events and activities. I can’t wait to keep connecting with CSAE in 2024. Connect with me on LinkedIn.

Featured Corporate Partner: Association Analytics

As an integral cash-flow component for many companies, well managed credit card processing is a high priority. One of the best ways for a company to reduce fees and receive proactive service is to join a professional Association that offers a group processing plan.

The scale of the CSAE group plan provides significantly reduced rates. Proactive service ensures that your members will no longer be taken by surprise when regulations, rate categories, technologies and data security standards inevitably evolve. They will know what’s happening months before any changes take effect.

In addition to being very good for member companies, the plan also provides a potential tool for new member recruitment while generating a growing, non-dues revenue stream for participating Associations.

If you’d like to explore the benefits of partnership, please leave a few details about your organization here and we’ll be in touch shortly.
