I am Barry Rooke, CAE, the executive director of both National Campus and Community Radio Association (a non-profit association supporting 115-plus non- profit radio stations across the country) and Cider Canada/Cidre Canada (a new national association for cider producers in Canada).

I have been lucky enough to receive awards in the CAE program as well as the  CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau Emerging Talent Award (2021). I started in the association world in 2015 and learned that being a member (and completing training) with CSAE is incredibly beneficial – it has resulted in our organization growing almost 250 per cent in revenue and 20 per cent in membership! I really appreciate the support others provide through the Associations Connect portal.

Thank You to Our Corporate Partners

As an integral cash-flow component for many companies, well managed credit card processing is a high priority. One of the best ways for a company to reduce fees and receive proactive service is to join a professional association that offers a group processing plan. The scale of the CSAE group plan provides significantly reduced rates. And proactive service means that when regulations, rate categories, technologies and data security standards inevitably evolve, your members will no longer be surprised. They will know what’s happening months before any changes take effect. In addition to being very good for member companies, the plan also provides a potential tool for new member recruitment while generating a growing, non-dues revenue stream for participating associations. If you’d like to explore the benefits of partnership, please leave a few details about your organization here and we’ll be in touch shortly.
