CSAE Association Agenda
CSAE News

CSAE is starting the year with some exciting news! Like many of you, the CSAE team has learned a great deal over the past 10 months about sustaining productivity while connecting virtually with our members and partners. Our success has enabled us to adopt a permanent virtual model, and we will be vacating our offices at 10 King Street East in Toronto later this month. What does this mean for our members and partners? Simply put, it will be business as usual! Click here for more information.

Do you have knowledge to share with your not-for-profit colleagues? CSAE is calling for proposals/presenters for the 2021 CSAE Trillium Winter Summit, March 2-4, 2021. The theme of this event is “resilience” and its relation to mental health, joy and renewal. We’re aiming to fill 20 concurrent sessions that promote organizational resilience in challenging times, with topics relating to the five main leadership competency areas. Presentations should be no longer than 60 minutes. Submit your proposal by January 15, 2021.

There’s no doubt technology makes your association tick! Join your colleagues for the virtual 2021 CSAE Trillium Technology Day, where we will “seize the day” as we learn how to make technology work for us. The pandemic has created opportunities and challenges for association professionals from coast to coast – and all are welcome at this half-day event, featuring a keynote address on prioritizing accessibility with Ricardo Wagner of Microsoft Canada. Plus, we’ll have multiple technology-focused case studies and a panel on the “Technology of People.” Click here to register.

PLUS: Take advantage of bundled discounts when you register for both Technology Day and the Winter Summit! CSAE Members – $220 bundled price. Non-Members – $380 bundled price. Available until Feb. 2.

CSAE Ottawa-Gatineau is rolling out its most popular event, Tête-à-Tête, in a new virtual format this year. Association and not-for-profit leaders, meeting and event planners, and government procurers can immerse themselves in “all things association” at Tête-à-Tête, where the day’s schedule is packed with informative roundtable discussions, expert panel presentations, and engaging keynote speakers. Our closing keynote speaker is none other than renowned Toronto epidemiologist Dr. David Fisman. This is his fourth presentation to CSAE members about COVID-19. This time, he’ll discuss how upcoming vaccinations will affect our event planning for 2021. Don’t miss this chance to learn how you can prepare your association for an uncertain future. Remember, your Tête-à-Tête registration is FREE! Click here to reserve your space.
