Membership Spotlight

CSAE member since 2011
I joined CSAE when I started the CAE program in 2011. I already knew that I wanted to make the association world my career, with the ultimate goal of running an association one day. I assessed how I could add to my skill set.  I determined that the CAE designation would expose me to many more aspects of association leadership than what I had been exposed to in my experience thus far. Achieving my career goal is proof of the value of the CAE designation.  One piece of advice for those starting the program, time management is key. Manage your time to full invest in the individual work AND the discussion groups. The discussion groups is what I enjoyed the most.

For those that know me, they know I am passionate about what I do and I am determined and persistent.  I am a team player and like to give back, which is why I have volunteered with CSAE for the last six/seven years.  Last word… #eatmorefish!

THE GOVERNANCE FORUM RETURNS! JOIN US ON NOVEMBER 10TH
10:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST
Many organizations struggle defining the role of the Board in strategic planning and in innovation processes. Often it is delegated to senior management to conduct strategic planning and the Board becomes an approval body rather than a generator of innovative ideas.

Join us for the Governance Forum on November 10th and learn how Board members should think about their role in building strategy and how they collaborate with senior management in this process. The Governance Forum is based on Dr. David Weiss’ best selling books including Innovative Intelligence and provides compelling answers to these critical questions.
