On November 13th from 12-1 p.m. EST, join Chris Baylis of the Sponsorship Collective for a how-to on becoming a sponsor. He’ll cover the essentials, around:

  • How to valuate sponsorship
  • Metrics – which ones matter the most?
  • Questions to ask the organization you’re sponsoring

You will also hear exciting updates about business membership from our business members task force, and have a chance to ask any burning questions you might have.

Membership Spotlight

Member since 1990

I have been with Marriott International for 32 years and I am the global account executive responsible for the association segment. I am passionate about the company I work for and the customers I serve every day. I joined CSAE in 1990 to learn how associations operate, and my first annual conference was in Hamilton. I had just started in my role of national sales and was invited to participate in the Charity Chapter Challenge. The rest, as they say, is history. I have a fulfilling career because of the knowledge and relationships that I have formed through CSAE. My participation on a number of committees over the years, both at the chair and member levels, have also helped me further my career.

At The Roundtable, we explore all kinds of interesting topics. One that always gets people engaged is the idea of “managing up.” With the number one reason that people quit jobs being their relationship with their boss, it’s little wonder that leaders in our programs spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to manage their leaders. But here’s the thing that I’ve noticed around this topic… it’s one that’s often taboo in organizations: managers don’t like to think that they need to be “managed.”
