I first heard about CSAE while working for Girl Guides of Canada. When I moved into my first executive director role in 2006, I negotiated membership with CSAE and the CAE® courses into my contract. This was important to building a network of association executives and refining my competencies as I grew into my role. As CEO for RisingOaks Early Learning Ontario, this network has become my CSAE family, my go-to for resources, supplier contacts and for coaching and mentoring. I am proud to have served as Chair of CSAE’s Board of Directors and to have worked with the volunteer and staff team on its recent governance review and its enterprise risk management framework.  There have been so many great #CSAEmoments over the years… getting screeched in while in St. Johns, dancing the night away in Ottawa, and the moment we first met Tracy as part of the CEO search committee to name a few. If you’re new to CSAE, reach out. I’d love to connect. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
