Hi, my name is Alan Tennant, and I am the president & CEO of the Calgary Real Estate Board. Recently, I was humbled to be honoured by CSAE with the Community Leader Award. The best decision I ever made came before I launched my career as an association executive, and that came when I decided to pursue the CAE® designation. It not only proved to be a transformational learning benchmark for my career, but it also came in incredibly handy in my interview! I joined CSAE because I believed membership in CSAE would help me land my dream job, and it did! Over my career I have constantly relied on the CSAE as a source of knowledge and best practices.
