The 2015 AACS Annual Convention & Expo is just around the corner, and we are so excited to connect, share and celebrate with everyone in attendance!
Please be aware: Convention hotel rooms are sold out and we still have a few attendees who need a room. If you have a room reservation at the Hyatt that you will not be using, please do not cancel with the hotel. Contact Jim Cox and he will take care of the cancellation by re-assigning the reservation to someone who needs a room. If you have a room and are willing to share, please post to the Facebook event page.

Managing deadlines is critical. Setting aside time to do important work is one challenge, but being able to actually focus on it is another. We talk a lot about time management, but for all our efforts to set aside time to tackle important projects, we miss overlooking one key thing: being able to focus on actually completing them.
For many, email is the preferred method of communication — it builds a record, it documents the entire conversation, and it doesn't allow for interruptions. I'll send you an email when I have time, and you send one back when you have time. But, the very thing that makes email fabulous can also make it a pitfall. There are things you should probably never, ever say, but you should really never, ever, ever write them in an email.
