Technology Trends and Initiatives are Shaping Education and Business
Post-secondary students will be entering classrooms after experiencing more exposure to technology than ever before. Technology and diversity are the key to a strong corporate America, says Apple CEO Tim Cook, which is why his company is giving iPads and Macs to public school students and teachers at 114 schools in 29 states, as part of its $100 million commitment to the ConnectED Initiative. Classrooms are also being outfitted with Apple TVs, speakers and projectors. President Barack Obama's ConnectED Initiative is a $10 billion plan to improve K-12 education by boosting broadband connectivity nationwide. Apple, Microsoft, Sprint and Verizon are all supporters of the program. Find out how technology trends are shaping business and education during a live presentation by Microsoft executive, David Langridge, during the 2015 AACS Annual Convention & Expo.
