Modern Salon Announces 2014 Excellence in Education Top Honorees
MODERN SALON Media has named the 2014 class of Excellence in Education honorees in its fifth annual program recognizing leadership and best practices among cosmetology schools. MODERN SALON Publisher Steve Reiss announced the recipients during the AACS Annual Convention & Expo. Hundreds of entries were submitted from cosmetology schools across North America, in eight categories ranging from marketing to placement to school culture. Click here to see those honored.

 

Election Results
AACS is pleased to announce the following results from the AACS Annual Membership Meeting that took place on Sunday, November 16, 2015. All by-laws proposed changes were passed as presented. Anthony Civitano and Dana Dougherty-Swanson were elected to fill the two open seats as school directors. Sandra Bruce was re-elected to serve in the open associate director seat. Thank you to all those who took the time to vote in this election.
