Board Member Steps Down, Election Next Month
Board member Joe Carretta has stepped down
from the AACS Board of Directors as he transitions into a new career outside of
the industry. We wish him success and thank him for his dedicated years of
service to the association! The board election will take place at the AACS Annual Convention next month.

AACS Annual Packed With Workshops and Education
The
AACS Annual Convention & Expo, November 14-17 in Phoenix, will offer a
NACCAS Workshop, which includes developing a financially sound school, and
Owners Only Workshop and an Admissions Workshop. These in-depth educational
sessions are at no extra charge to Annual attendees. There are also a variety
of breakout sessions specific to compliance, marketing and management. There is
a full schedule available with
speaker bios and session descriptions. With the help of the membership from a
recent survey, many of the sessions are direct requests from members, including
team building exercises which will take place on the last day. Registration is now
open.

Educators: 12 Hours of Methodology Training in Phoenix
Still
need your NACCAS 12-hour CEU’s? Looking to get inspired as a teacher? For the
first time ever, there will be educator training in conjunction with the AACS
Annual Convention this year. Sunday and Monday of the event (November 16 &
17) will include 12 hours of methodology training for $149. This includes
