Martin Gugliotti, owner for the International Institute of Cosmetology in Connecticut and Gugliotti’s Salon and Spa, along with two colleagues, Cristina Dos Santos and Alex Serbegis, will represent Team USA at the 2014 OMC Hairworld World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany. With over 1,000 participants from 50+ nations, top hairdressers from around the globe will compete in front of an audience of skillful stylists and experienced judges. The annual N.F. Cimaglia Educator of the Year Award is a prestigious award given to one educator each year who has exhibited the most significant contribution toward upgrading professional standards of educational excellence, particularly within the areas of student involvement during the immediate past year. Nominees must be members of CEA or employed at an AACS member school, currently employed, have at least three years of active employment as a cosmetology educator and can provide evidence of significant contributions to educational excellence during the immediate past year.

I love to downhill ski. Last March I had reconstructive knee surgery and was back on the slopes in nine months! I am no Lindsay Vohn, but I am back at it!

I been a member since I bought the school. AACS has always been a wealth of information for me.
