State Relations Committee
Meet Your AACS State Rep: Arkansas & Oklahoma
Trish Anderson
Owner/Director, Academy of Salon and Spa

How long have you been in the beauty school business?
8 years

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
We have a pet deer, Holiday, and she is 15 years old. She has a herd in our backyard and had twins in March. As soon as we call them, they come running to eat their animal crackers on our back porch. It is never boring at the lake.

Why is it important for you to be involved with AACS and the State Relations Committee?
AACS has been a great asset for our school to network with other school owners and vendors. They help us keep abreast of the many changes in the industry. I have been involved with the State Relations Committee since we joined AACS. The resources are great for our industry.
