The annual N.F. Cimaglia Educator of the Year Award is a prestigious award given to one educator each year who has exhibited the most significant contribution toward upgrading professional standards of educational excellence, particularly within the areas of student involvement during the immediate past year. Nominees must be members of CEA or employed at an AACS member school, currently employed, have at least three years of active employment as a cosmetology educator and can provide evidence of significant contributions to educational excellence during the immediate past year. I used to run marathons and compete in triathlons until my wife and I had children. I didn't realized the purpose of all that training was to get me ready for raising our three little boys. With a 4-year-old, 2-year-old and 1-year-old, those races were an absolute breeze!    

 

The association is the driving force behind our industry. It allows us to continue to fine tune and advance our schools to better serve our students and faculty. The State Relations Committee allows us to unit as independent states with one united voice.
