PR Tips
Did you know that unless a period is placed before the username, a Tweet to another user will only be seen by the sender, the person tweeted and people who follow both the sender and recipient? Why is it important for you to be involved with AACS and the State Relations Committee?

The instructor is the real key to student retention at career colleges. Instructors must keep focused on student motivation and retention each and every day of class. Developing strategies for retaining students throughout the entire training sequence is both complex and rewarding. All instructors should have the goal of seeing all of their students successfully complete their class. This course in the AACS Online Training Center helps you reach that goal by helping you to understand your students and use proven motivation and retention techniques to keep them enrolled and engaged in the learning process. There is a universal worry among cosmetology school owners and employees: Gainful Employment—the rule that yokes career schools to the performance of their students long after the students have graduated. To meet the Gainful Employment requirements, schools have instituted multiple programs, from courses on upselling and customer management to job interviewing. Among these programs, career schools are slowly beginning to add a subject that is crucial: personal finance. Click here to read this article by Peter Bielagus.
