What's Hot

Happy new year! We look forward to a fantastic 2021 with you. We are closed tomorrow, January 1, 2021, in observance of the New Year holiday. Operations will resume January 4.

To join, renew your membership to, or learn more about AACS, contact cristina@beautyschools.org.

Along with your dues, we are asking that you make a donation to our continued government relations efforts. The suggested donation is $500, but any amount is helpful. Thank you for your continued support of AACS and we look forward to another successful year.

2020 brought its challenges. But member schools, students, instructors and staff more than powered through. As the year winds down, here is some encouraging progress achieved:

  • 30% of Beauty Changes Lives’ scholarship awardees report owning their own businesses. Small is the new beautiful in the world of business.
  • Beauty Changes Lives administered $256,000 in COVID relief grants to more than 250 beauty professionals.
  • 47 scholarships were awarded to aspiring and licensed beauty professionals in 2020 – including underserved populations.
  • As social justice movements in the U.S. and around the world gain traction, Beauty Changes Lives is proud that 50% of our scholarship winners are people of color.

These numbers show that beauty really does change lives. Beauty Changes Lives thanks AACS member schools for their support and we look forward to working with you in 2021!
