West Virginia Governor Approves Licensure Reciprocity Bill

The last week of February finds 42 state legislatures actively meeting.  On Sunday, Virginia’s General Assembly became the first legislature to adjourn in 2019.  Tomorrow, Wyoming’s legislature will become the second.  Four states – Kansas, Montana, South Dakota and West Virginia – also have crossover deadlines this week by which bills need to be passed by their legislative chamber of origin in order to remain viable.  However, in some cases, budget and appropriations bills are exempt from these deadlines.  As always, AACS keep you apprised of the latest state legislative developments of interest to member schools.
