Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday your GRC were making our initial outreach to a new Administration and Congress urging them to take urgently needed steps to delay implementation of overly burdensome and punitive regulations and promoting our legislative priorities on Capitol Hill. Now, as the year comes to a close, we are in the thick of two separate Federal Negotiated Rule-making discussions seeking to revise the gainful employment (as a result of AACS’ successful litigation) and borrower defense to repayment regulations, and the House Committee on Education and the Workforce has completed markup of legislation to reauthorize the Higher Education Act and is preparing for floor consideration early next year! 

Given all that is going on, we felt that it was important to host a webinar providing you with a brief into the past, the present, and our future.
