Since March 13, when AACS and the GRC provided initial summary of the Department's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) seeking to once again define Gainful Employment, the GRC has been reviewing, analyzing and drafting the association's response. Tuesday, May 27 is the submission deadline and the GRC is providing a draft for your review, and calling upon you to begin the development of your own individual (institutional) response. We ask that your institution's comments follow the general framework and message of the association's.

Comments may be submitted to the Department through the Federal eRulemaking Portal or postal mail, commercial delivery or hand delivery. All comments must include the Docket ID of ED-2014-OPE-0039 listed on the top of your cover page. The Federal eRulemaking Portal is the recommended method of submissions. The Portal may be accessed at www.regulations.gov. Once on the Portal, there are clear and simple instructions on how to submit your response to the NPRM by Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
