AACS Remembers Jim Goins
Today we honor Jim Goins of Shreveport, LA. He passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2015 at age 66. A second-generation beauty education champion and leader in our industry, he was the past Chairman of the Commission for NAACAS, as well as a past board member for AACS. In recognition of his service to the industry, he was honored with the prestigious N.F. Cigmaglia Award in 2013, just as his mother was in 1997. He was a loyal supporter of AACS and our Government Relations activities. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to AACS, earmarked specifically for GR activities.
