Last week, AACS released a formal Notice of the Annual Meeting of the Membership, which shall be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 12 p.m. during the 2017 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the proposed restructuring of the Association and amending the current By-Laws.
According to the AACS By-laws, Article XVI (Amendments and Rules of Order) Section 1 which is titled Amendments, the By-laws may be amended, repealed, or altered either in whole or in part, by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the school members present at a duly organized meeting of the Association, regular or special. The proposed changes to the By-Laws will be posted on August 31, 2017, for a fifteen (15) day Comment Period which will end on September 15, 2017.
