Teachers are increasingly being asked to embrace new ideas and styles of teaching, but schools don’t always give their educators time or the mental space to absorb and apply those concepts. That’s why the idea of "unlearning" - new ways to think in the face of established practices, and to make room for new change - is worth exploring. Often what stands in the way of implementing change is the inability to see things beyond what they’ve always been in the past.
