The 64 building teams completing the total program saved 4.1 million kWh and 7.5 percent natural gas savings in 2013

Participants who meet their average goal of 5 percent energy reduction, together you’ll save more than $760,000 in electricity compared to 2012.

Participants identified, implemented or planned more than 560 capital or operational improvements that can lead to long-term energy savings.

This year, more than 45 buildings and 20 NEW organizations joined the program — more than 30 percent of the 15 million square feet you represented.

Participants comprise 25 percent of office space in the City of Portland, with more buildings in Vancouver.

Most teams budgeted capital projects for the year after the competition; and 100 percent planned to continue bench marking monthly!
