The Industry Training Authority (ITA) is reaching out to the commercial real estate industry, along with other organizations, regarding the Residential Building Maintenance Worker trade in BC. They are currently reviewing this program and seeking input from a number of different organizations to see if there is demand for this trade and to ensure the standards align with industry requirements. They have heard from our industry association of the need for training that is aligned specifically to commercial buildings, and this is a good time to reinforce that message.
