Property managers across BC are joining Building Benchmark BC to seek insights about their buildings’ energy performance relative to their peers, help identify possible retrofit options and demonstrate their energy leadership.
Whether you are new to building energy benchmarking or a seasoned veteran, Benchmark BC can add value to your efforts to understand and reduce the energy footprint of your buildings. The program offers in-depth support to help you:
- Set up ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) and connect you to utility providers for automated data syncing;
- See your “energy scorecard” on how you’re performing on energy use intensity, greenhouse gas intensity and other key metrics compared to peers with similar buildings;
- Receive insights and offers from energy service providers (optional); and
- Publicly disclose your buildings’ performance (optional).
