BOMA makes submission to BC Budget Committee

BOMA made a pre-budget submission to the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services for priorities they should focus on in the upcoming year. BOMA recognizes the need for new programs and initiatives to help building managers achieve climate action targets. We encouraged the province to adopt Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) and other property tax tools and incentives to help building managers make long term investments in energy reduction projects. We also asked for funding for energy training resources to directly support our members with new energy and carbon reduction regulation programs that are on the horizon.
