BOMA Facts

Dear BOMA New York Members,

June has been an exciting month for BOMA New York!

This month we’ve announced our partnership with Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. This program will connect Fordham undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in real estate or property management with the BOMA New York network, in hopes of providing jobs and internships. We are really looking forward to this opportunity to make an impact on the next generation of young professionals in the construction industry. For more information regarding this program, contact Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships at Fordham University, Maricel Piriz, at mpiriz@fordham.edu.

In addition to this, the BOMA International Every Building Conference & Expo took place from Saturday, June 24th to Tuesday, June 27th at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. We had a great time connecting with other BOMA Locals from around the country, and would highly recommend attending next year’s conference in San Antonio, TX. BOMA’s Annual International Conferences are great opportunities to learn about the latest trends and best practices  around the country, as well as network with other professionals in the industry.

Looking ahead at the next few months, there is much to come for BOMA New York. I encourage you to get involved locally as well as on the regional and international level. If you want to learn more about how to get involved, please contact the BOMA New York office.

I look forward to seeing you at our Annual Membership Event on September 13th!

Enjoy your Summer!

Sincerely,

James R. Kleeman

President of BOMA/NY
